Frequently Asked Questions

Prior to scheduling testing, this will be tentatively decided during a phone consultation with you.  The testing process itself typically takes between 1 and 2 1/2 hours per child.  Many parents prefer to complete the testing in one session; however, there is also an option to spread out the assessment over two days.  After testing, a report will be sent through a HIPPA compliant portal within 2 business days. Results are discussed via phone conference.

Krista Nelson is a licensed and certified school psychologist (SS940).  As is the case with any privately obtained assessment, the school is obligated to take the results into consideration. Please note that in the state of Florida, gifted eligibility is determined by factors beyond testing alone. The child must also demonstrate a need for gifted services and demonstrate gifted characteristics.
